Special Forces Weapons


    • The Special Forces are a division of the United States Army also known as the Special Operations or Green Beret. The Special Forces use the most up-to-date weapons that the military has to offer. This advanced weaponry helps the soldiers complete their missions.

    M-4 Carbine

    • The M-4 Carbine is a lightweight rifle used by the Special Forces. This weapon has a collapsible stock for portability. It is magazine fed, air cooled and gas powered. The M-4 Carbine takes 5.56mm ammunition. This is basically a shortened version of the M-16A2 rifle. This weapon is smaller and easier to use for shooting out of military vehicles. It can be customized with a variety of different parts, lights and scopes. It's a portable and versatile weapon of the Special Forces.

    M-24 Sniper Rifle

    • This weapon isn't just a gun; it is a system. The M-24 sniper rifle replaced the M-21 in 1988. It is a 6-shot weapon with 1 round in the chamber and 5 in the magazine. It comes with a cleaning kit, manual, support equipment, cases and optics. The stock butt plate can be customized by two inches, making it longer or shorter depending on the shooter's preference. The M-24 uses 7.62mm Winchester Magnum rounds.

    M-107 Long-Range Sniper Rifle


    • The M-107 has a detachable muzzle brake and carry handle. It also has adjustable scope rings, rear sight, monopod socket, rear grip, lightweight bolt carrier, spiked feet and a detachable bipod. The M-107 long-range sniper rifle uses .50 caliber ammunition.

    M249 Squad Automatic Weapon

    • The Special Forces uses the M249 Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW), which is a gas-operated machine gun. It can shoot up to 800 meters. It can be fed with 5.56mm disintegrating metallic link-belts or via magazine. It can hold 200 rounds of linked ammunition or 30-round box magazines.

    Heckler & Koch MP5 SMG

    • The Special Forces uses the Heckler & Koch MP5 submachine gun (SMG), which was developed by the Germans. This is not a standard weapon for the Special Forces, but some are used for special operations. It can be put on safe, semiautomatic or automatic mode. It can fire 800 rounds a minute and reaches up to 200 meters. It holds 9mm Parabellums for ammunition.

    Combat Shotguns

    • Combat shotguns have been used in the Special Forces for a long time. They are used for warfare and guard duty. Various combat shotgun models are used, including the Winchester 1897, the Winchester 12, the Winchester 1200, the Remington 870, the Ithaca 37, the Mossberg 590 and the Joint Service Combat Shotgun M1014. Combat shotguns are widely used, because they are versatile and durable. The butt can be used for getting in doors.
